Thank you for your interest in the United Lisbon International School. Whether you are already living in Portugal or will be relocating from another country, we understand that choosing the right school for your child/children is an important decision.

We encourage all families to make an appointment before visiting our school to insure that we are available to meet with and answer your questions.
To start the formal admissions process, including the admissions assessments, we ask you to complete the application form for each student and provide supporting documents (school transcripts, report cards). To submit a student application, we also require the payment of the application fee (EUR 255, online payment by credit card).
Our admissions team will then be in touch with you to coordinate the necessary admissions assessments and interview. After these have been completed, we will review the application and get back to you about the perspectives to enroll at United Lisbon.
What documents are needed to complete the application?
We ask you to provide school transcripts, report cards for the past three academic years, as well as any further assessments on the learning needs and abilities of your child. Throughout the admissions process, we might request further documentation.
How long after applying will I hear from you?
As soon as we receive a complete application form, the required documents and the placements’ tests are complete we will then assess the application. You can generally expect to hear from us within 2 weeks.
Do I need to attend a visit?
A visit is important but we understand that if you are living overseas this could not be feasible. Therefore, we will arrange a Skype interview.
My child is not fluent in English, will that be a problem?
We ensure that students who need additional language support get the required attention with a language program to consolidate their English. For those who are not fluent, an intensive language program is also available with an additional cost.
When do I need to pay the school’s tuition fees?
The payments are made quarterly. Please refer to our Enrolment and Tuition Policy.
What are the deadlines for application?
We accept applications at any time throughout the year. However, as seats are limited we do encourage an early application.
