For several years now, our vibrant partnership with Sporting Clube de Portugal has brought sports to the forefront of the United Lisbon International School community, offering students incredible pathways to thrive outside the classroom. By participating in offerings like the Sporting CP Soccer Academy and varied athletic activities, our students sharpen their sports skills while internalizing core values of collaboration, perseverance, dedication, and character development. 

Now, a cornerstone sporting partner of United Lisbon is beginning an exciting new chapter. 

In celebration of its 120-year milestone, Sporting CP has introduced a new brand identity designed to carry its traditions into the modern era. More than a superficial makeover, the redesign thoughtfully updates the club's historical imagery while safeguarding the distinct identity built over the last hundred years. 

Sporting's refreshed identity revolves around five core narrative pillars: the shield, the SCP crown, the lion, the iconic green-and-white stripes, and Porta 10 A. The updated shield draws inspiration from the club's 1945 insignia, while the modernized lion blends details from various historic eras. This approach updates recognizable symbols while safeguarding an identity built over more than a century. 

The connection between United Lisbon and Sporting CP goes much deeper than sports, making their new chapter highly relevant to our community. Sporting's core belief, developing the person before the athlete, perfectly matches our educational values and shapes the meaningful experiences they bring to our students.
