United Lisbon’s Class of 2026 achieved a 91.8% IB pass rate, an average score of 32 and a top score of 44 out of 45, while outperforming global averages across all subjects and earning 36% bilingual diplomas. Graduates are now pursuing diverse opportunities worldwide, from psychology at Oxford, a historic first for the school, to engineering, medicine, technology, business, hospitality and the creative arts, while others are taking purposeful gap years to develop language, cultural and professional skills.

On Friday, 29th May, we celebrated the IB Graduation of our 58 students with an evening of speeches, awards, music, and diploma presentations. The ceremony concluded with the traditional cap toss and a cocktail reception, marking the beginning of an exciting new chapter for the Class of 2026.

As IB exams approach, counsellor Carolina Serra encourages students to prioritize both academic preparation and personal wellbeing. Maintaining a healthy balance between studying and rest, using strategies such as the Pomodoro Technique, and taking care of sleep, nutrition, exercise, and social connections can help reduce stress and improve performance. Remember, rest is not a luxury, it is an essential part of success.
